The Tahoe-Douglas Elks Lodge recently provided winter clothes to C.C.Meneley Elementary School students. Each designated student was provided a hooded sweatshirts. Students also received gloves, knit hats, and winter coats. The effort was funded by Elks member donations and a Beacon Grant from the Elks National Foundation in Chicago. The grant will also help buy books and shoes, socks and other clothing needed at the school. Shown from the left are Bryce, Zion, Phoenix and Kai’Lani Terhune.
