The inaugural season of the Oasis Academy Lady Bighorns Middle School Basketball team was a huge success, according to the school.
The girls played in numerous games and tournaments in surrounding communities and finished off the season with a second place finish at the Pershing-Humboldt League Championship held in Lovelock.
“I’m extremely proud of their attitudes, play and growth during the season,” coach Dusty Casey said of the girls. “Even in the short amount of time we had, the girls demonstrated significant improvement as individuals and a team.”
