Community Education & Workforce Development — Employability Skills Training with sessions on Dec. 11-12, March 11-12, June 10-11.

Sessions are held on Friday/Saturday with Friday’s session being from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday’s session being from 9 a.m.-noon. At the conclusion of this workshop, students will understand the basic skills necessary for getting, keeping, and doing well on a job.

Employability Skills Training — Friday 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-noon. At the conclusion of the workshop, students will understand the basic skills necessary for obtaining, keeping and doing well on a job. Fee: $120.

Community Education — Eat Healthy Be Active Workshop will be held on Dec. 12 from 1-3 p.m.. This workshop will discuss GMOs, organic vs. non-organic, what eating healthy means, counting calories, reading labels, deciphering healthy recipes and much more.

Community Education — Emergency Preparation & Survival Class Series. This series to be held on the following Saturdays from 9-11 a.m.: Dec. 5 and Jan. 2. This series will cover How to take care of your family and pets and what is a “to go bag”, how to store, collect and estimate your food and water storage, and what kinds of clothing and shelter is needed for different situations, how to communicate when the grid is down, transportation and protection.

Christmas Puppet class — Saturdays, 2-5 p.m. on Dec. 5 & 12. Students will create the puppet’s head using clay and then create a costume for their puppet. For ages 5 and older. Fee: $46.

Adult/Infant/Child CPR — Saturday, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Dec. 5. For ages 11 and up. Fee: $51.

First Aid — Saturday, 1-4:30 p.m. on Dec, 5. For ages 11 and up. Fee: $61.

Eat Healthy-Be Active — Saturday, 1-3 p.m. on Dec. 12. Learn about GMOs, how to decipher food labels, organic vs non-organic, counting calories, and more. Bring your questions. Fee: $56.
