Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 7:03 p.m., a 31-year-old transient man was arrested on civil protective custody after deputies responded to reports of a man sleeping in the bathroom at the Carson Street Cactus Jacks. When deputies arrived, the man was heavily under the influence of methamphetamines and due to physical impairment and insufficient weather for the cold, deputies arrested him for his safety. No bail was set.

THURSDAY

At 7:02 p.m., a 58-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 2800 block of Dori Way. Bail was set at $3,000.

FRIDAY

At 2:40 a.m., a 47-year-old Carson city man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense, open container and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near Telegraph and Fall streets. Bail was set at $2,100.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
