The Brewery Arts Center is offering an afternoon of wine and creativity when it holds a jewelry making class with Kim Maehl 3-6 p.m. Saturday.
Attendees will learn how to make wire wrapped necklaces using copper wire and glass beads while sipping wine. The event is the third installment of the Brewery Arts Center’s Art Uncorked series.
“You can’t help but have fun with Kym instructing,” said Gina Hill, director of the Brewery Arts Center. “We are hoping to bring friends and families in to create together by offering a $5 discount per person to groups of two or more.”
The cost is $60 for members and $65 for nonmembers. All supply fees are included in the cost of admission, as well as the first glass of wine or beer. Use discount code BACdeca for groups of two or more.
Tickets are at breweryarts.org or at the Brewery Arts Center Artisan Stop, 449 W. King St. The Art Uncorked class will take place in the 1864 Grand Ballroom. For more information, call the Brewery Arts Center office at 775-883-1976.
