Tahoe author Mark McLaughlin will talk about the history of winter sports at Lake Tahoe and the 1960 Winter Olympics at Squaw Valley at 10 a.m. Dec. 8.
Holiday music by the Children’s Performance Choir, directed by Tim Nolte, will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 13.
Mark Anthony, an organist, will accompany The Spiral Ballet, which will perform original choreographed dances, at 2 p.m. Dec. 20.
Bob Nylen, curator of history at the Nevada State Museum, will talk about unique holiday traditions of historical Nevada at 10 a.m. Dec. 21.
Embracing change and aging, a conversation facilitated by Geri Meyer, will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 5 and 19.
