Cheers & Kudos: Thanks to National Guard for help at commodity food distribution

I volunteer every other month at the community center for the commodity food distribution, as do many other people in the community. I would like to thank the National Guard personnel that come and work so hard carrying out the food for the individuals. They not only are helping defend our country, but also doing work for our community.

What really surprised me was at the FISH award dinner at the Governor’s Mansion, I may be mistaken, but I didn’t see one National Guard person present. Without their help at the Community Center, we could never handle all the food distribution that is given out.

I would like to thank them for all their help, and I am sure the other people are thankful also. It is a pleasure to have you in our community.
