A chance to jump-start holiday shopping is being offered at an annual holiday craft fair and bake sale on Oct. 24 to raise money for Dayton Senior Center.
“Each year area crafters showcase their wares in Dayton to help raise funds for the Dayton Senior Center,” said Peggy Papp, volunteer event coordinator.
The event features a variety of hand-crafted items made by area residents, baked goods cooked by senior volunteers and a large raffle.
“This fair and bake sale is a wonderful way to help local seniors continue to enjoy the programs and services available at the center,” said Shayla Holmes, Dayton Senior Center manager.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road, Dayton. For more information, call 775-246-6210.
