Pete went home to the Lord, October 1, 2015. He was born November 11, 1949, in Inglewood, California, to Pete Jerry Caron and Ruth Elizabeth Kennedy Caron. He grew up in Tracy, California, working summers in Northern Nevada with his dad in the hay contracting business, playing on the varsity wrestling, football and baseball teams and racing his famous motorcycle, The Prophet. He graduated from high school in 1967, got married and had two sons. In 1973, he married Barbara Bly and had three sons. Pete was a lineman for the power company then earned his electrical engineering degree and MBA to become District Manager in Carson City for Sierra Pacific Power Company. After retiring, he managed Silver Oak Golf Course and consulted as an electrical engineer. He enjoyed traveling with his family all over the United States and loved hunting and camping. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara, and sons, Pete (Vanessa), John, Brett, Zach (Melissa) and Josh and grandchildren Cameron, Nathan, and Brielle and brother, Jim Peveler (Diana) and in-laws, Carole Cantlen (Bob), Jim Bly (Carol) and many nieces and nephews.

A family celebration of life will be held in the spring.
