Amateur radio license classes offered in Carson City area

Sierra Intermountain Emergency Radio Association is looking for anyone in the Carson City area interested in taking an amateur radio general license class, which will be held for two hours an evening for eight weeks. Location and dates will be determined upon interest shown.

To upgrade a technician’s license, call Billie Jo McAfee at 530-577-8434. Sierra Intermountain Emergency Radio Association meeting are held at 8 a.m. on the fourth Saturday of the month at Ham Dogs Restaurant, 1267 Highway 395 in Gardnerville.
