The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
WEDNESDAY
At 10:50 a.m., two 55-year-old Carson City men were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, obstructing and open container after deputies responded to the 1000 block of Minnesota Street for two males consuming alcohol in the park. Bail was set at $550 each.
At 1 p.m., Christina Burdick, 31, of Dayton, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony grand larceny, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prescription drug without a prescription after deputies responded to reports of two car-carrying trailers from the 200 block of E. Hampton Drive. Bail was set at $55,000.
At 1:35 p.m., Gordon Bowell, 52, of Dayton was arrested on suspicion of two felony DUI with prior felony DUI conviction. Bail was set at $20,000.
At 8:53 p.m., Lindsay Hammers, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance warrant after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Edmonds and Gordon Drives. Bail was set at $2,500.
At 9:07 p.m., Austin Mordhorst, 20, of Gardnerville, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of a firearm by prohibited person, arrest of a probationer, possession of a concealed weapon and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 1600 block of Brown Street. Bail was set at $48,500.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
