Carson City road report for April 11-17

The following information applies to the period of April 11-17.

Work will continue on the Downtown Corridor improvement project on Carson Street. For details regarding traffic impacts from the Downtown Carson Street project, refer to the Cone Zone in the Nevada Appeal, or go to www.carsonproud.com. These sources are updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.

Due to utility work, lane closures are expected from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the following locations:

Mountain Street between Tahoe and Topaz drives for one day, as yet undecided, between April 11 and 15

Center Drive, south of Clear Creek Avenue on weekdays

Utility work is planned from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays with possible flagger controlled traffic at the following locations:

Mountain Street between Fleischmann Way and Long Street

Division Street between Fleischmann Way and Long Street

Long Street between Mountain and Division streets

Fleischmann Way between Mountain and Division streets

Sierra Circle, Hillside Way, Miller Way, Pine View Way, and Lane Circle

Road closures are expected from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the following locations; detours will be in place.

Division Street between Park and Long streets on Monday, April 11

Long Street between Division and Mountain streets on Tuesday, April 12

Division Street and Long Street Intersection, Thursday and Friday, April 14 and 15

Topsy Lane, Center Drive to U.S. 395, Monday through Thursday, April 11-15

Arrowhead Drive between Goni Road and Emerson Drive, Monday-Thursday, April 11-14

Washington Street between Carson and Roop streets, Monday through Thursday, April 11-14

Periodic lane and ramp closures will take place on southbound I-580 and alternate U.S. 395 in southern Washoe Valley throughout the summer, includes northbound and southbound ramp closures for Bellevue Bridge.
