Barbara Capet Morgan

Barbara Capet Morgan passed away peacefully on March 19th at the age of 86. She was born in Farmington, West Virginia, was the first in her family to graduate from college, and had careers in medical technology and real estate. Even so, her primary focus was on her family and friends. Her favorite hobbies were traveling, golf, volunteering and visiting with her friends. She was predeceased in death by her father John D. Capet, her mother Manzy Muriel Bradley Capet and her husband of 47 years Richard L. Morgan. She is survived by her sister Georgia Allison, sister-in-law Mary (John) Davis, daughter Kim (John Slider) Morgan, son Randy (Sandi) Morgan; nephews Jeff (Sharron) Bartlett, Doug Bartlett, Michael (Gabrielle) Davis, Andrew (Ann) Davis; grandchildren Colin (Sarah) Morgan, Alli (Daniel) Cranford, Shilo (Matt) Turri and great-grandchildren Forester Morgan and Daniel Turri. A celebration of life will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5th at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 314 N. Division St., Carson City. Reception will follow.
