To celebrate Nevada State Historic Preservation and Archeology Awareness Month, the Dayton Historical Museum in Old Town Dayton at Shady Lane and Logan Alley will be open every day in May from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Exhibits this month include miniature-sized farm equipment and tools, with working parts, made by Dayton Western artist, Stony Tennant, and a collection of Nevada antique postcards from Pat Neylan’s collection.
Autographed copies of the new Arcadia Publishing history, “Dayton: Images of America,” are available at the museum. All proceeds benefit the Historical Society of Dayton Valley.
