All classes are online and meet at Churchill Country Library Annex at 507 S. Maine St., at the rear door entrance. Tuition reimbursement is available for ITGT classes taken through WNC at the Churchill County Library. WNC will provide a lab assistant or work study from 5:30-99 p.m. Monday –Thursday to assist students.

CSCO 120- 97554 — CCNA Internetworking Fundamentals
This course introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet and other computer networks. It uses OSI and TCP layered models to examine the nature and roles of protocols and services at the application, network, data link, and physical layers. The principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations are introduced. Requires 24 hours in person at WNC Carson City Campus — Instructor: Riske. Meets on Monday & Wednesday 5:30-9:45 p.m.
CSCO 220 – 97556 — CCNA Lan Switch Wireless
This course describes the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a larger and more complex network. Students learn how to configure routers and switches for advanced functionality. Students will configure and troubleshoot routers and switches and resolve common issues with OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and VTP in both IPv4 and IPv6. (prerequisite: CSCO 121) Requires eight hours in person at WNC Carson City Campus — Instructor: Cherpeski — Meets on Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-9:45 p.m.

CSCO 121—97555 — CCNA Routing Protocols & Concepts
This course describes the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a small network. Students learn how to configure a router and a switch for basic functionality. Students will configure and troubleshoot routers and switches and resolve common issues with RIPv1, RIPv2, single-area and multi-area OSPF, virtual LANs, and inter-VLAN routing in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. (prerequisite: CSCO 12o) Requires 16 hours in person at WNC Carson City Campus-Instructor Long — Meets on Monday & Wednesday 5:30-9:45 p.m.
CSCO 221- 97557- CCNA Wan Fundamentals
This course discusses the WAN technologies and network services required by converged applications in a complex network. The course enables students to understand the selection criteria of network devices and WAN technologies to meet network requirements. Students learn how to configure and troubleshoot network devices and resolve common issues with data link protocols. Students will also develop the knowledge and skills needed to implement IPSec and virtual private network (VPN) operations in a complex network. IS 101- 97607 — Introduction to Information Systems- Introduces the student to the role of computers in today’s technology-driven environment, allowing for hands on lab experience. Students will be introduced to the Internet, distance education, and the World Wide Web for research, along with operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, database and basic multi-media. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to demonstrate basic computer survival skills, understand computer terminology, and create data using a variety of software. GRC 175—97605 — Web Design and Publishing I — Introduces website authoring using industry standard software applications. Topics covered include planning, designing and building a web site, aesthetics, creating and optimizing computer graphics for web, information architecture, navigation and interactivity, web publishing, web hosting and site management. Knowledge of the following basic computer skills required: saving, opening, and printing documents, opening and closing applications, creating and managing folders and subfolders, viewing the contents of disk drives and external storage. GRC 275 — 97606 - Web Design and Publishing II -Offers advanced web page design using industry-standard applications. Topics include CCS layout, advanced site building features, site management, interactivity, and customization. Instructor: Aust
