Jack M. Skovgard, Passed away at his home August 9, 2016 at age 87.

Jack Skovgard was born in Crown Point, NY. He married Antoinette Terlingo June 11, 1949, and they moved to Hawthorne, CA where they raised their family. Jack worked as a Detective Sgt. Investigator 3 in the 77th precinct of the Los

Angeles police department until retirement. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. Upon retirement from the police force, the couple moved to Carson City, NV.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife Antoinette in 2005, his parents, and two brothers. He is survived by his sister Irene Jensen of Buena Park, CA, daughters Donna Kidwell of Walnut, CA, Dolores (Rick) Bailey of Carson City, NV, and Dorothy (Jim) Costa of Livermore, CA, son David (Cindy) Skovgard of Long Beach, CA, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Private family inturment will occur at a later date.
