FRIDAY
At 5:38 p.m., a 26-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court at the N. Carson Street Woody’s Casino. Bail was set at $500.
At 6:40 p.m., a 56-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, no proof of insurance, littering and open container after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 900 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $2,200.
At 7:01 p.m., a 53-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs and two counts of hit and run occupied vehicles after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Sweet Water and Fairview drives. The suspect had allegedly hit a vehicle at Sherman and College Parkway and backed into another at a light at College Parkway and Highway 50. Bail was set at $2,000.
At 10:56 p.m., a 47-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250.
SATURDAY
At 3:27 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear traffic warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 5th Street and Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $1,610.
At 9:39 p.m., a 57-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3300 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,000.
SUNDAY
At 7:36 a.m., a 68-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and littering after deputies responded to reports of a man throwing trash into the street near Roop and Musser streets. Bail was set at $650.
At 9:51 a.m., a 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence warrant after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated man who was seeing things near the 3600 block of Nye Lane. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 4:56 p.m., a 25-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking clothes from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $1,250.
At 11:33 p.m., Jose Nunez, 28, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony kidnapping and felony domestic battery with strangulation after deputies responded to a call of a pregnant woman allegedly getting battered near the 3300 block of S. Carson Street. Nunez was arrested at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $115,000.
