Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on DUI, hit and run

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 7:59 p.m., Justin Carter, 34, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony sex offender failed to register after deputies responded to reports of a possible overdose near the 1800 block of William Street. Bail was set at $10,000.

At 8:45 p.m., a 55-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of threats after deputies responded to reports of a neighbor dispute near the 100 block of Applegate Way. Bail was set at $500.

At 11:20 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Saliman Road and Cardinal Way. Bail was set at $500.

TUESDAY

At 12:18 a.m., a 76-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit and run after deputies responded to reports of a woman hitting a parked vehicle near the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. Bail was set at $1,500.

At 1:36 a.m., Shylo Watson, 25, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony dissuading a victim from calling 911 warrant, assault warrant and contempt of court deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1800 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $5,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
