Dec. 31, 1942 ~ Aug. 21, 2016

Ken was born December 31, 1942 in Bakersfield, CA, and Angels carried him away on August 21, 2016. Ken always said he never lacked for a birthday party as the world celebrated with him.

Ken was born to Aubrey and Juanita Webb. He attended Bakersfield High where he played football under Coach Briggs (Go Drillers); played football at Bakersfield College and LA State.

He was a training and motorcycle officer with the Bakersfield Police Department; ranched in Caliente Canyon before moving to McCall, Idaho. There he worked with the Young Adult Conservation Corp with troubled youth, while enjoying his love of the outdoors.

Moving to NV in 1979, he was employed with the Department Of Corrections, retiring in 1999 as a Correctional Lieutenant. His moment of infamy came when he discovered a helicopter on the roof at Nevada State Prison being built by some ingenious inmates.

Ken is survived by his wife of 45 yrs, Sandra; their son Ken, wife Karyn and granddaughter Kristyn; their daughter Angela Winburn, husband Noah and grandsons Owen and Reid. We are fortunate all children call Gardnerville home.

Ken’s daughter, Coral and her family live in Ventura Ca. His brother, US Army Lieutenant (retired) Gary A Webb of Mesa, AR and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Children held a special place with Ken. He coached and refereed AYSO soccer for many years in the Carson Valley. Please tell your children how very proud you are of them and hug each other. If you wish please plant a tree, contribute to Parkinson research, or Gentiva Hospice.

Our family would like to extend our gratitude for the kindness and caring extended to Ken by the East Fork Fire Department, Gentiva Hospice and Autumn Funerals & Cremations
