A rummage sale that includes barbecue food and live music to benefit he Historic Preservation of the Comstock is returning to Silver City Park Sept. 3-4.
The Comstock Residents Association’s 6th Annual Labor Day Rummage Sale and BBQ is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is at 385 High Street in Silver City, adjacent to the community center/school house.
The sale will offer bargains on furniture, housewares, books, art and more. Live music sweetens the event, with performances by The Ukulocos, Bob Elston, Allander/Stornetta, Mylo McCormick, and others.
Proceeds help the effort to protect the Virginia City National Historic Landmark, which encompasses Virginia City, Gold Hill, Old Town Dayton and Silver City.
