An artist’s take on some of Nevada’s historic sites is the center of an art display at Dayton Valley Branch Library.

Nevada pen and ink artist, Bill Migan, is displaying his art work through January.

Bill and his wife, Judy, moved to Nevada in 1998 and settled in the Dayton area. Bill was self-employed as a sign painter and he specialized in boat lettering, custom pin-striping, and graphics.

The Migans have travelled over 75,000 miles on Nevada back roads and highways and have visited almost every ghost town and mining camp in the state. Many visitors to his art shows will recognize some of his drawings of Nevada’s old buildings and historic places.

The library is at 321 Old River Road, Dayton. It can be reached at 775-246-6212.
