The following cases were heard in the Tenth Judicial Court before Judge Thomas Stockard.

Paul Hester III pleaded no contest to charges of possession of a controlled substance after being found with methamphetamine; the defense requested he be referred to the mental health court. The proceedings were suspended and Hester placed on probation not to exceed three years.

Joyce Mitcheltree pleaded guilty to charges of driving under the influence on a third or subsequent offense. According to court documents, she was pulled over and found to have a blood alcohol level in excess of .08 percent. The proceedings were suspended as an application for the DUI divergent program is completed, and Mitcheltree was placed on probation.

The proceedings of Divina Cobocob’s case were suspended while the deputy district attorney finalizes their information.Cobocob has been charged with driving under the influence for a third or subsequent offense.

Tracy DeGrise‘s sentence for driving under the influence on the second offense was deemed satisfied after she completed the DUI divergent program.

Frank Giles’ sentence for driving under the influence on the second offense was satisfied after he completed the DUI divergent program.

Gregory Much was sentenced to 16-48 months in prison without probation for charges of possession of a debit card without permission. According to court documents, Much was retained as a caregiver for an elderly couple and used their debit card to make large withdraws and go gambling; deputy district attorney Bryant Hendricksen also described him going on a spending spree. He has also been ordered to pay restitution to the surviving member of the couple.

Robin Semashko pleaded guilty to burglary. According to court documents, in November she entered a residence with the intent to commit assault on the resident with a knife. Semashko was released on her own recognizance until sentencing.

Deana Sullivan pleaded no contest to charges of unlawful use or being under the influence of a controlled substance after being found in possession of meth. The defense has requested the drug divergent program, though deputy district attorney Chelsea Sanford objected due to Sullivan’s failed history with the program. Sentencing will be held in February.

Sentencing for Ryan Richter was rescheduled while a pre-sentencing report is compiled. He is facing charges of unlawful use or being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Marvin Burns pleaded guilty to possession of meth. He has been reinstated on probation and sentencing was suspended while he applies for the drug divergent program. If he is not accepted into the program, sentencing will be carried out.
