Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of felony commercial burglary

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 4:55 a.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of abuse of 911 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after dispatch received several calls from the same person about fictitious incidents, first at the William Street Remedy’s and then at the 600 block of Minnesota Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 2:31 p.m., a 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking several items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250.

At 2:51 p.m., Aprille Knight, 24, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and a warrant service after deputies initiated a warrant service near the 700 block of Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $7,100.

At 3:02 p.m., Matthew Bryant, 26, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony sex offender failed to register after deputies conducted a business check at the Highway 50 SlotWorld. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 4:10 p.m., a 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of threats near Long Street and Russell Way. Bail was set at $500.

At 6:12 p.m., a 37-year-old Reno woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs, attempt to destroy evidence and possession of marijuana after deputies responded to reports of an accident near the 1300 block of Fremont Street. Bail was set at $4,100.

SATURDAY

At 11:30 p.m., Bob Wooldridge, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony commercial burglary after deputies responded to reports of a burglary at the Eagle Station Southwest Gas. Bail was set at $20,000.

SUNDAY

At 4:00 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William and State streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 4:04 a.m., Barry Guidry, 52, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony fugitive for justice, DUI-first offense, open container, failure to maintain lane and impeding traffic after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 4th and Carson Streets. Bail was set at $1,165.

At 9:53 a.m., Pedro Meza-Martinez, 26,of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation, following too closely and DUI-second offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 00 block of Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $2,575.

At 10:10 a.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence, domestic battery warrant and stalking after deputies responded to reports of a warrant subject near the 1000 block of Latigo Drive. Bail was set at $8,500.

At 5:33 p.m., a 60-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of driving with a revoked license and failure to obey traffic signals after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop Street and Little Lane. Bail was set at $1,053.

At 11:26 p.m., a 35-year-old Auburn, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer, domestic battery and obstruction after deputies responded to reports of a domestic incident at the Carson Street Motel 6. Bail was set at $5,800.

MONDAY

At 5:01 a.m., a 32-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested on suspicion of a failure to comply warrant after deputies responded to reports of a man with a warrant at the Carson Street Fandango Casino. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
