Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 7:45 a.m., Justin Snyder, 38, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to the Highway 50 SlotWorld for an unrelated call. Bail was set at $21,000.

At 3:13 p.m., Shaun Petrusa, 53, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and felony preventing victim from reporting a crime after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 3100 block of Surrey Lane. Bail was set at $25,000.

At 4:27 p.m., a 23-year-old Markleeville, Calif., woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $1,250.

At 5:54 p.m., a 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking items from the William Street Smiths. Bail was set at $250.

At 7:09 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of revoked license, no current proof of insurance and basic speed after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Brown Street and Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,168.

THURSDAY

At 12:42 a.m., a 29-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrants after deputies responded to reports of a man parked at a gas pump for an extended period of time at the College Parkway Maverik Gas Station. Bail was set at $295.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
