Carson City Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada hosting Asian New Year party Feb. 20

Crafts and traditional Japanese folk music by Reno Taiko Tsurunokai drum group is planned at the Children Museum of Northern Nevada’s 14th Annual Asian New Year/Lantern Festival from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20.

The drum ensemble, whose performance will be at noon, plays original and traditional Japanese folk songs. “Tsurunokai” means “gathering of cranes” in Japanese.
