The following cases were heard in the Tenth Judicial District Court.
Avery Michael Sliger pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance, heroin, category F felony. The case was suspended and she will attend the Western Diversion Drug Court and must serve three years probation. The count had carried a one- to four-year prison sentence and a fine not to exceed $5,000.
Edward Delacruz Allen pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a category F felony. Trial is set for September.
Daniel Martin pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking a controlled substance, methamphetamine, between 14-28 grams, a category B felony and one count of a habitual criminal with three prior felonies. Trial is set for late August.
Jean Michele Oxford pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful use or being under the influence of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a category E felony. The case was suspended and she will attend the Western Diversion Drug Court and must serve three years probation. The count had carried a one to four-year prison sentence and a fine not to exceed $5,000.
Jordan Lee Fitch will be rearranged on Tuesday on one count of unlawful use or being under the influence of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a category F felony. In court, Judge Tom Stockard wanted Fitch to take a drug test, but Fitch said it would come back dirty because he had taken PCP and had smoked marijuana. Judge Tom Stockard ordered Fitch to be held on $75,000 bail.
Bernadetterose Delp Pavan pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance for purpose of sale, first offense. According to the charge, she possessed a Schedule I controlled substance, namely methamphetamine, for the purpose of sale.
She faces a one to four-year prison sentence and a fine not to exceed $5,000. She was released on her own recognizance and ordered to see court services daily.
Shannandoa Francis Murray pleaded guilty to two felonies, which had been reduced from seven. The two counts, which are the same, charge Murray with conspiracy to commit a felony crime under the uniform substance ac, first offense, a Category C felony.
The first count charges Murray conspired with Michon Jackson to sell methamphetamine on Nov. 18, 2015. The second count charges Murray conspired with Jackson to sell methamphetamine on Dec. 8, 2015. He faces one to five years and a fine not to exceed $10,000 on each count. Sentencing will be in May.
Chelsie Nicole Galdarisi was sentenced to prison for 12-32 months. Her sentence was suspended and she was placed on five years probation.
She had pleaded guilty to the fraudulent use of credit card or debit card. On May 26, 2015, she used another person’s credit card without her consent to purchase items at Walgreens.
Edward James Reymus was sentenced to prison for one to four years and fined $2,000 for driving or being under the influence, third or subsequent offense. He had pleaded guilty for a July 8, 2015, incident at or near U.S. Highway 50 and mile marker 14. Court records state he had a concentration of alcohol .08 or more in his blood or breath.
Juan Carlos Avina-Gonzales was sentenced to prison for 24-60 months for possession of a stolen vehicle, a category C felony. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation where he must pay restitution and undergo substance abuse treatment.
Andy Gabriel Hooper had his sentence of 19-48 months suspended and was placed on five years probation for possession or under the influence of a controlled substance. He must attend the Western Diversion Drug Program.
Jeremiah Israel Weik’s sentence of 12-34 months in prison was suspended, and he was placed on five years probation for the unlawful use of a controlled substance.
As part of his probation, Weik must have a mental health evaluation and participate in a patient substance abuse program.
