Karen Louise McQueen

Karen McQueen, age 60, passed away on January 16th at the Renown Hospital in Reno, Nevada, due to complications from cancer. Karen was born on June 19, 1955 in Charleston, South Carolina, to John Hale and Joraine Tuckwin.

Karen had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved working on different crafts, hobbies, and collecting antiques. She is survived by her husband, LeRoy McQueen of Elko, brothers Larry Hale of Carson City, Nevada and Morgan Hale (Joy) of Fallon, Nevada, sister Susan (Craig) of Gladstone Michigan, along with her nephews and niece. Karen is preceded in death by her father, John Hale, stepmom Alvena Hale, and sister Sara Hale. As per her request, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date for her close family members to celebrate her life. She will be laid to rest with her father at the Churchill County Cemetery in Fallon, Nevada. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Northeastern Nevada Museum.
