The Lady Wave wins first in the Elite Varsity Tournament after four consecutive wins against bigger schools including Damonte Ranch, Pershing County, McQueen and Reed high school.

Fallon’s defense shuts down the Indians in their own territory in their second game of 2016.

For the first time in several years the Lady Wave defeat the Lady Bucks in Fallon territory with what could’ve been the first upset in CCHS’ undefeated record.

This win for Fallon marked the first time Elko’s girls team has had a running clock against them in 15 years.
Feb. 6
Fallon 51, Spring Creek 15
In one of their widest margins of victory all season the Lady Wave defeats the Lady Spartans in their second home game of the weekend.
Feb. 9
Fallon 63, Truckee 31
The last place Lady Wolverines mark Fallon’s last game before entering the regionals as the No. 1 seed in Northern Nevada with a bye for the Quarterfinals.
Feb. 19:
Fallon 52, Fernley 21
The Lady Wave dominates their semifinal game against Fernley and advances to the finals against the Lady Bucks.
Feb. 20
Lowry 40, Fallon 39
In a last second upset, Lowry’s Alyssa Kuskie sinks a 3-pointer that knocks Fallon to the No. 2 seed in Northern Nevada. Fallon advances to face the Spring Valley Grizzlies today at 3 p.m. Information compiled by LVN Sports Editor Mike Sciandra.
