Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Jan. 4. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:
Red’s Old 395 Grill, 1055 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.
Artisan Bakeworks & Cafe, 701 S. Carson St., 98 points. Sauce and precooked onions were at 110 degrees.
Pizza Factory of Carson City, 3120 E. Highway 50, Suite 3, 98 points. Salad dressing temperatures were at 45 degrees.
Slotworld, Betsy’s Cafe, 3879 E. Highway 50, 97 points. Biofilm was found in the large ice machine. Garbage storage container lids were open.
The Thick Slice Pizza, 2010 E. William St., 97 points. The front of the ice machine was missing. Garbage was being stored outside in plastic bags. The pizza oven exhaust hood needed to be cleaned.
