A GoFundMe page has been set up for the victim in Monday morning’s fatal shooting.

The page has been set up to help the victim’s family pay for funeral costs. Grant Watkins, 18, was killed Monday morning after he was shot following an alleged drug deal gone wrong. Officials said Watkins was trying to sell three ounces of marijuana to two brothers, Jesus and Allen Garcia-Manriquez when Watkins was shot. The brothers were arrested later Monday.

Watkins was the oldest of three boys and a recent Carson High School grad. The creator of the page described Watkins as “a natural entrepreneur with a bright future and was the kindest most respectful person you could ever meet.”

The page also said the family doesn’t have the money for a funeral.
