Details have been finalized for the Churchill Arts Council’s 30th Anniversary Fundraising Dinner & Silent Auction, “An Evening With the Arts,” on March 5 at the Fallon Convention Center.
This year’s theme, in honor of the Council’s 30th year of programming, is “Pearls and Pirates” and festive and/or pirate attired is encouraged . The auction preview and no-host bar will begin at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and the auction will conclude at 8:45 p.m.
Dinner will be catered by the Slanted Porch and will include a classic Caesar salad, herb-crusted fillet mignon, half-lobster tail, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, or, as a vegetarian option, roasted butternut squash cannelloni. Desert will be a gourmet buccaneer’s delight.
The event is $70 per person and includes dinner, wine and admission to the auction. $80 per person will also include $20 worth of raffle tickets.
As always, this event will sell out. Seating is very limited, only 30 tables of eight or ten will be sold, so be sure and reserve your table early for the social event of the season. Reservations can be made by calling Churchill Arts at 775-423-1440.
