Google Summit to be held for educators in Carson City

The Carson City School District will be hosting Northern Nevada’s first Google Apps for Education Summit next Sunday and Monday.

The two day event focuses on teaching educators how to better integrate and use technology applications and tools into their classrooms.

Sessions will cover everything from how to use Google Docs to how to how to work video and technology into research and classroom presentation. There will also be three keynote speakers from Google Educators and employees presenting during the program.

All Nevada teachers and administrators who attend the two day Summit will receive 1 recertification credit. Carson City educators can also receive 1 professional growth credit, but to get the credit, educators must pay the registration fees themselves.
