The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
FRIDAY
At 8:19 a.m., a 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 400 block of Colorado Street. No bail was set.
At 12:16 p.m., a 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana less than one ounce and failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near Long and Roop streets. Bail was set at $1,600.
At 5:38 p.m., Jade Kizer, 48, of Gardnerville, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and larceny after deputies responded to reports of two subjects taking bottles of alcohol from the Carson Street Raley’s. At the same incident, a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny. Bail for Kizer was set at $5,500 and bail for the 28-year-old was set at $250.
SATURDAY
At 12:01 a.m., Paris Wolf, 24, of Reno, was arrested on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid persecution and felony parole and probation violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 580 and College Parkway. At the same incident, Celena Penfold, 21, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony U.S. Marshals hold and obstruction. Bail for Wolf was set at $10,000 and bail for Penfold was set at $500.
At 2:02 a.m., an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs first offense, violation of a suspended sentence and failure to maintain a lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1400 block of South Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,040.
At 3:37 a.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of failure to appear warrants after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Woodside and Siskiyou drives. Bail was set at $390.
At 10:31 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of a warrant subject near the 800 block of Nye Lane. Bail was set at $305.
At 8:27 p.m., Wesley Ives, 34, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear citation after deputies conducted a business check at the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $3,795.
At 8:58 p.m., Richard Ruiz III, 32, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, brandishing a weapon in a threatening manner and Department of Alternative Sentencing violation after deputies responded to reports of a subject threatening with a knife near the 1100 block of Nevada Street. Bail was set at $21,500.
At 10:17 p.m., a 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-alcohol, failure to maintain a lane, disobedience to traffic control devices and driving without a valid driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William Street and Saliman Road. At the same incident, a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon after deputies found a pair of brass knuckles in his pocket. Bail for the 36-year-old was set at $1,180 and bail for the 24-year-old was set at $2,500.
SUNDAY
At 1:05 a.m., a 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of destruction of private property after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 1500 block of Rand Avenue. Bail was set at $500.
At 8:05 a.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming alcoholic beverages after deputies responded to reports of a residential burglary near the 2100 block of Columbia Way. The homeowner found the man in his laundry room with blood on his face and arms. Bail was set at $150.
At 11:39 p.m., a 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense warrant after deputies initiated a business check at the Goni Road Comstock Casino. Bail was set at $3,000.
MONDAY
At 3:49 p.m., a 70-year-old Carson City woman and a 29-year-old Carson City man were arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of a civil standby after a civilian reported her brother was sending her threatening text messages. Bail was set at $2,500 each.
TUESDAY
At 1:58 a.m., a 36-year-old Dayton woman was arrested on possession of marijuana less than one ounce and a Lyon County warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Nye Lane. Bail was set at $880.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
