Kevin Ray, as he was known in Carson City, passed to another life on January 19th, 2016. Kevin was born on October 29th,1959. Kevin was loved by so many people. He was a unique man, he excepted the good & the not so good in people. He worked toward his goals courageously and made a difference in so many peoples lives. He’s someone you’d never get over if you had the opportunity to be part of his life. The impact he made was huge and he will be greatly missed. At the young age of fourteen he was an Eagle Scout. During his life he was an actor, owned an advertising agency & minted Nevada V & T Railway coins for sale. In Carson City he was involved with the V & T Railway, Carson City Mall Manager, Carson City Visitors Center, was on the Board of the BAC, and was also involved with events in downtown Carson City. In Tahoe Winterfest, in Reno gay pride. To celebrate his life, just think how lucky you were to know him. Kevin is survived by his partner Bob Robinson, his parents. Sherman & Sheila Bertrand of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. His brothers & sisters Melissa, Ron, David & Rachel Bertrand. A niece and nephew Benjamin & Maribel Bertrand & many aunts and uncles that he loved dearly. He had numerous friends whom he always treated as family. A Private Service will be held at Mom & Dads in Myrtle Beach South Carolina.
