Carson City road report for Feb. 1-7, 2016

The following information applies to the period of Feb. 1-7.

Utility work will continue from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays at the following locations, with possible flagger controlled traffic:

Long Street between Mountain and Division streets; road will be closed to through traffic weekdays, weather permitting

Division Street between Fleischmann Way and Long Street

Mountain Street between Fleischmann Way and Long Street

Fleischmann Way between Mountain and Division streets

Sierra Circle, Hillside Way, Miller Way, Pine View Way, and Lane Circle

Washington Street will be intermittently closed to through traffic between Division and Phillips streets and between Carson and Nevada streets weekdays due to the construction of the East/West Water Transmission Project. In addition, flagger controlled traffic will be in place at the intersection of Washington and Phillips streets.

Telegraph and Proctor streets will be closed to through traffic between Carson and Nevada streets during daytime hours weekdays due to utility work. In addition, there will be limited parking on Curry Street between Musser and Spear streets during this time.

There will be a lane closure on Panamint Road at the intersection of Furnace Creek Road with flagger controlled traffic. In addition, a portion of the sidewalk on Panamint Road will be closed south of the intersection.

There will be work on the south shoulder of King Street from Ormsby Boulevard to approximately 200 feet west of Canyon Park Court due to drainage improvements. Drivers are asked to use caution.

Race Track Road will be closed to through traffic between Bigelow and Schulz drives for the week.

There will be shoulder work at the following locations due to utility work:

The intersection of Combs Canyon Road and Timberline Drive

Iris Street between King and Forth streets

The south side of Ann Street between Minnesota and Division streets

The east side of Anderson Street between Proctor and Spear streets
