Robert Lopez of Stay Green Tree Service starts to dismantle a 60-plus foot Colorado Spruce tree that blew over into Eleanor Foster's front yard on Calaveras Drive during a windstorm around 1:30 pm Friday. Luckily the tree threaded itself right in between her house and her neighbor's and nobody was injured. With a brief break in the weather and wind Saturday, another system will make its way into Carson City bringing colder temperatures and the possibility of heavy snow in the capital city this afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Carson City, Reno, Carson Valley, Dayton and Virginia City areas, as well as the Lake Tahoe Basin where up to a foot of snow is possible.
