The Summer Reading Program is underway! If you haven’t already signed up come in and do it today. Activities include self-directed craft projects, a writing workshop, weekly performances, books to keep and lots of fun for all ages.

Information Technology Gateway Training (ITGT)

ITGT is being offered at the Churchill County Library thanks to gigabit broadband internet provided by Churchill County Communications and a Workforce Challenge Grant awarded to the library by the Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation, and Technology earlier this year. A partnership with Western Nevada College (WNC) and Churchill Economic Development Authority (CEDA) completes the package that makes this information technology technician training available. Classes include Microsoft & CompTIA, CISCO Routing and Switching, and Graphic Communication & Web Design. Credits apply toward WNC Certificates of Achievement and Applied Associate of Arts degrees. Contact the Library or WNC for details.
