The Historical Society of Dayton Valley will pay tribute to its members, volunteers and anyone who might want to join it at its next meeting on Wednesday, July 20.
Besides refreshments and a free raffle, Stony Tennant, long-time Dayton historian, will bring a skull he found on his property in Dayton in the early 1970s and reveal information about the historical artifact.
The fun begins at the Dayton Valley Community Center, 170 Pike Street, at 12:30 p.m. President Gloria Manning said a short meeting is planned.
