University of Nevada Cooperative Extension holding Summer Youth Day Camp Aug. 1-5

Youth ages 9-15 are invited to have fund and explore the Carson City area in University of Nevada Cooperative Extension’s first Summer Youth Day Camp on Aug. 1-5.

The camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, offers a different theme each day including outdoor adventures, coding and 3-D printing, photography, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and entomology.

Children can be dropped off and picked up each day at the Extension Office, 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 15. The cost for the week si $100 per youth, or $25 each day. The price includes snacks, drinks, lunch for two days, supplies/materials, transportation, and entrance fees. This event is open to the public, youth do not need to be a 4-H member. Register no later than July 28.
