Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of obtaining money under false pretenses

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 3:50 p.m., a 52-year-old Caldwell, Idaho, man was arrested on suspicion of a warrant after deputies initiated a welfare check near Nye Lane and Airport Road. Bail was set at $1,082.

At 10:34 p.m., George Hudson, 36, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony obtaining money under false pretenses and felony burglary after deputies responded to reports of a theft at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $40,000.

WEDNESDAY

At 3:27 a.m., a 35-year-old Carson City man and a 48-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of obstructing after deputies responded to reports of an intrusion alarm at the 3600 block of Research Way. Both suspects attempted to flee the area, but were apprehended at gunpoint. Bail was set at $300 each.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes.
