Actor, comedian, voice-over artist and radio star Jamie Kaler will entertain Carson City crowds with a live comedy performance on Friday, June 10.
Kaler’s “Un-Motivational! Tour” will be featured at the Carson Nugget at 7:30 p.m.
A New Hampshire native, Kaler graduated from Boston University on an NROTC scholarship. He served as an officer and a gentleman in the U.S. Navy before beginning his career as a performer.
As a comedian he was one of the new faces at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He has appeared on “Chelsea Lately,” “The Late Late Show,” “Live at Gotham,” “Mockpocalypse” and “World’s Dumbest.”
The performer, who’s the spokesman for the current Ford Motor Company commercial campaign, is known for his starring role as Mike on the TBS show “My Boys” and as the host of “America: Facts vs. Fiction,” currently in its third season on the American Heroes Channel.
Kaler also appeared on “Friends,” “Will and Grace,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Parenthood,” and “King of Queens,” along with several feature films and more than 150 commercials. A contributing lifestyle writer for Disney’s Babble.com, Kaler had his own radio show, “Kaler,” on SiriusXM. Also, he’s the voice of the Bloopers Host on the cult classic “Robot Chicken.”
Patrick Garrity will continue the Nugget’s live comedy lineup with a performance hosted by John Tole on Friday, June 17.
Garrity, who spends 50 weeks a year on the road, has been featured on “Comedy Night School” on NBC and CBS.
