“Coach” Johnne Lee Landers ,71, passed away June 13, 2016 at his home in Dayton, NV surrounded by his loving family Johnne was born August 13, 1944 in Ventura, CA to Johnne and Juanita Landers. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Vietnam era.Johnne worked as a purchasing agent for Taft Electric Company in Ventura, CA for 32 years retiring in 2006. Following his retirement Johnne moved with his wife to Dayton, NV. In his free time Johnne loved coaching youth football. In Ventura, CA he coached the Packers youth football team for 25 years. After moving to Dayton he coached the PopWarner Senator’s football team in Carson City. John was preceded in death by

one brother Roger Landers.He will be dearly missed by his wife of 49 years, Lillian. Three daughters, Lisa Murguia (Eugene), Sheryl Landers and Christine Lee ( Leonard). Two sisters, Betty Epperson and Maudie Beacom. Also three grandchildren, Eric Murguia, Lilyann Lee and Mattilyn Lee.There will be a Visitation for Johnne Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2:00pm to 7:00pm at Walton’s in Carson City. A Memorial Mass will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:00am at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City, NV.
