Tom was called “Tomcat” by his friends who rode motorcycles with him. He was a photographer in the Navy and graduated from the School of Modern Photography in New York City in 1952.He was an officer in the Lakewood Sheriff Department.
Tom was an amateur radio operator, thoroughly enjoying C.W. operation.He graduated from Long Beach City College in 1978 with a degree of Associate in Science.He worked at Trinity Broadcasting Network as an electronics maintenance technician.He was one of the original members of the band called “The Grumpy Old Men.”He worked for a few years traveling with RCA to install TV stations in Louisiana, New Mexico and elsewhere.Tom retired from Bently Nevada where he worked as an electronics maintenance technician.He played with the Carson City Symphony and with other performance groups in the area.He leaves behind his wife, Happy, to whom he was married for 40+ years.He is gone from here but we will meet him there - in the meantime he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Services will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Fernley, NV, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 am
