The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
FRIDAY
• At 12:44 a.m., a 48-year-old Carson man was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace after three different callers in the area of Rand Street called to complain. He was held in lieu of $100.
• At 7:32 a.m., a 26-year-old Carson woman was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding at Arrowhead and Technology Drive. She also was arrested on suspicion of driving on a license that was revoked for an earlier DUI conviction. Bail was set at $1,050.
THURSDAY
• At 10:39 a.m., Jose Monzon, 31, was arrested on suspicion of violating his alternative sentencing conditions in a domestic battery case. He was ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend’s residence on Tiger Drive. According to the arrest report, the woman returned home Thursday to find Monzon in her residence. Deputies arrested him on the front porch of the home. He was held in lieu of $3,000 bail.
• At 2:20 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court, no proof of insurance and having a fictitious registration in his vehicle after a traffic stop on Truckee Drive. According to the arrest report, the license plate in his vehicle’s rear window belonged to a utility trailer and expired in 2002. He also had a warrant issued by justice court for contempt of court. Total bail was set at $1,266.
• At 3:26 p.m., Daniel Devencenzi, 31, was arrested at his North Saliman Road residence on suspicion of felony warrant charging parole violation. He was held without bail.
• At 6:26 p.m., Thomas Andrew Olson, 56, was arrested on suspicion of grand larceny charge after witnesses reported to dispatch he walked behind the Tractor Supply Company and stole a green dolly, putting it into his minivan and driving away. One witness got a license plate number and deputies went to Olson’s residence where they found the dolly. According to the police report, he admitted taking the dolly, which Tractor Supply officials valued at about $1,000, making its theft a felony. Olson was ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
• At 7:51 p.m., Michael McKnight, 32, was arrested on suspicion of drug warrants issued in Dayton after a traffic stop on Highway 50 at Detroit Road. The warrants charge him with felony drug possession and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Total bail was set at $4,780.
• At 8:50 p.m., Jonathan Brunner Jr., 28, was arrested on suspicion of several drug charges after a traffic stop at Mockingbird and Pheasant because his vehicle didn’t have license plates. He faces two felony counts: possession of hash oil and possession of an Oxycodone pill without a prescription. He also faces a misdemeanor marijuana possession and a paraphernalia charge as well as not having his lights on. Total bail was set at $6,650.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
