John Rusk, 42, of Fallon, NV passed away on June 23, 2016 following a brief illness. John was born September 25,1973 in Reno, NV to Russell & Marcelle Rusk of Fallon. He had many talents, but baseball was his love. John went to school in Fallon all his life.He won a scholarship for baseball in Southern Idaho and earned his asscociates degree. He also played baseball in Eugene, OR for the Corp. league, playing for the Pepsi Challengers. The team traveled all over

the United States.John later worked construction and worked as a firefighter for the BLM. He loved climbing mountains and taking a selfie.He was preceded in death by his sister, Nichole and father Russell.He is survived by his children, Nolin and Mackenzee Rusk; grandson, Braden Rusk and his mother Marcelle Rusk. John was a proud grandfather, he was so happy! He will be missed with his laugh and smile.Funeral services were held on June 29th in Fallon. He was laid to rest in the Fallon cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home Fallon, 775-423-2255.
