One suspect in Carson City auto parts store robbery arrested

One suspect has been apprehended in connection with an armed robbery that occurred earlier this week.

Anthony Melendrez, 34, was arrested Wednesday night at the Rail City Casino in Sparks after deputies received information the suspect was at that location. Deputies also are looking for Melendrez’s alleged accomplice Jermine Jordan.

The two men are suspected of robbing the North Carson Street O’Reilly Auto Parts store in Carson City at gunpoint Monday night.

Jordan is suspected to have fled the Carson City area and may be in Stockton or Oakland, Calif., Oregon or Boise, Idaho.
