Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on grand larceny, stolen property

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

At 8:14 a.m., a 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance near the 200 block of Ormsby Boulevard. Bail was set at $2,000.

At 9:48 a.m., a 47-year-old Fairfield, Calif., woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting a public officer with violence after deputies responded to reports of a domestic incident occurring at the College Parkway Maverick Gas Station. The two left the scene before officers arrived, but were located near College Parkway and Lompa Lane when the woman tried to run from deputies into traffic. At the same incident, the male, 35, was located at the Goni Road Comstock Casino and arrested on suspicion of obstructing. Bail for the woman was set at $1,150 and bail for the man was set at $300.

At 6:30 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near Condor Circle. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 8:40 p.m., Charles Herzog, 37, of Fresno, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony grand larceny, two counts of felony possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to the Market Street Home Depot for a larceny in progress. Herzog drove off, but deputies located him near the 2900 block of Carson Street, where they initiated a traffic stop. Bail was set at $101,600.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
