The Nevada Division of Forestry is seeking applicants for two competitive grants programs.
The Landscape Scale Restoration Grants provides funding to identify natural resource restoration needs in connection with landscaping. The money can be used for restoration treatments that reduce wildfire and noxious weed impacts or restore forest and range health, recreational opportunities and riparian areas.
The state Fire Assistance Grants fund programs that reduce wildfire fuels.
The projects can be implemented on state and private lands. Projects on federal lands are not eligible.
Pre-proposals must be submitted on forms available on the forestry division website at http://forestry.nv.gov/grants/
