The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
Carson City
FRIDAY
At 9:59 p.m., a 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery on a protected person and speed- 11-15 over after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2000 block of William Street. The man allegedly refused to obey deputies’ commands and wrestled with several deputies before surrendering. Bail was set at $2,550.
At 11:00 p.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on two counts of contempt of court warrants after deputies initiated a consensual stop at the Carson Street. Deputies had to then order the suspects out of a vehicle at gunpoint when they refused to show their hands. Bail was set at $10,000.
At 11:40 p.m., Scott Drummond, 63, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery with substantial bodily harm and felony preventing victim from reporting a crime after deputies responded to reports of Drummond allegedly head-butting his girlfriend in the face near the 2400 block of Watercrest Court at 9:07 p.m. He was located later by deputies near the 1300 block of Fleetwood Avenue. Bail was set at $20,000.
SATURDAY
At 1:35 a.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, destruction of property and resisting after deputies responded to a possible residential burglary near the 400 block of Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $3,570.
At 3:30 p.m., a 19-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, license suspended, no valid driver’s license and basic speed after deputies responded to a reckless driver near S. Carson Street and Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $1,645.
At 7:42 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near Roberta Way. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 11:12 p.m., a 46-year-old Silver Springs man was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, destroying/concealing evidence, eluding, DUI-drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3400 block of N. Carson Street. The driver did not pull over and attempted to flee deputies going the wrong way in a parking lot and deputies conducted a high risk traffic stop. Bail was set at $7,500.
SUNDAY
At 5:12 p.m., a 25-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on suspicion of provoking assault, battery and threats after deputies responded to a child custody dispute near the 1600 block of Myles Way. Deputies located the suspect and involved parties near at the S. Carson Street Raley’s. Bail was set at $2,000.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
