Why do rabbits have large ears? What animal can live without ever taking a drink of water? Get to know Nevada’s wildlife during a family program at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at Dayton State Park. Rangers will display pelts from wildlife living along the Carson River and go for a short walk to look for wildlife in the park.

Attendees are asked to meet at the group use pavilion.

The park entrance fee is $7 per vehicle with a $2 discount for Nevada residents. There program is free.
